Privacy & email preferences

We use the Google tag to measure visits from Google Ads, advertising performance and shopping activity in Google Analytics, including product views, cart additions, checkout starts and completed purchases. Purchase measurement includes product information, order value and a random order identifier. Google may use cookies and device information for this measurement. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, delivery address or payment card details through this tag. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Drone Active Australia uses customer names, email addresses, phone numbers and delivery addresses to manage purchases and delivery. Stripe handles payment card details. Cart product selections are stored in your browser; saved account addresses are stored securely on the server and accessed through your signed-in account.

Creating a customer profile does not subscribe you to promotional email. The marketing checkbox is optional and unticked by default. Selecting it at checkout subscribes you to marketing emails immediately. For subscribers, we may use purchased product information to suggest related accessories in a follow-up email. We record your choice, when it was made and the consent wording. You can turn it off and save your preference on the account details page. Email campaigns are not sent automatically when you create an account.

Order information is retained for fulfilment and record keeping. Saved profile information is retained to support your account. For privacy questions or requests about your information, contact hello@droneactive.com.au.

Hot deal email signup

If you join our deal alerts, we store your email address, optional first name, consent wording, signup and activation dates, subscription status and a hashed request identifier used to limit spam. We use Resend to send your welcome sequence and weekly product emails. By clicking the newsletter Sign up button, you agree to these marketing emails and become subscribed immediately, without a separate confirmation email. Your subscription continues until you opt out. Previously pending signups remain inactive unless you complete their existing confirmation link or sign up again. Every marketing email includes your unsubscribe link; you can also contact hello@droneactive.com.au to opt out. We retain a record of your opt-out to respect your preference.

Drone Active mobile app

The app loads our public catalogue and product photos over HTTPS. Your app bag and favourites are stored locally on your device and can be removed under More → Clear saved app data. The app does not require an account, location, camera, microphone or contacts access. When you choose checkout, product identifiers and quantities are carried to our website; payment, delivery information, website measurement and optional email signup follow the policies above. The native app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs. Hosting providers process ordinary network request information to deliver the catalogue and images.

Store Manager virtual assistant

The virtual assistant uses public product listings and our help information to provide automated store guidance. Chat messages are processed in your browser page and are not sent to an external AI service or saved by Drone Active Australia. Chat history clears when you refresh or leave the page. Please do not enter payment card numbers, passwords or security codes. The assistant cannot access individual orders, approve refunds or change payments. Email links open your own email app; nothing is sent until you send the message.
