USB-C chargers

Start with the input requirements of your device or charging hub. The wattage printed on a charger does not alone establish compatibility or charging time. For multi-port chargers, check how output is shared when several devices are connected and whether the required cable is included.

Plan your equipment checklist

Compare power profiles, ports and cables

A USB-C connector alone does not confirm that a charger is suitable for your aircraft, controller or battery hub. Match the manufacturer’s specified input voltage, current and power-delivery requirements to the charger’s supported output profiles. Check the manual for the device being charged, not just the aircraft’s product name.

For chargers with several ports, compare the output available from each port when used alone and when other ports are occupied. The advertised total output may be shared. Check whether the required USB-C cable is supplied and whether it supports the power required by your setup.

List the devices you need to charge and the adapters you already own before adding another charger. Our drone equipment checklist helps identify missing items, while the kit comparison worksheet helps compare the full cost of two setups.

Check the charger inclusions in your kit

Review the package contents for the Mini 5 Pro Fly More Combo (RC-N3), Air 3S Fly More Combo (RC 2), Flip Fly More Combo (RC 2) and Neo 2 Fly More Combo. A charging hub and a mains power adapter are different items. Check what is included and the device input requirements before choosing a separate wall charger.

Build a charging checklist

For each device, record the model, required input profile, cable type and whether it charges directly or through a separate hub. Then compare that list with the charger listing. If a required output profile or cable rating is not stated, resolve that gap before buying. Do not assume that the highest wattage product is the best match for every device.

Check the package contents for the wall plug, charging cable and any adapters you expect to receive. A product photograph may show a suggested setup rather than everything included in the box. Use the written inclusions and the manufacturer’s instructions to decide which parts you actually need.

If you plan to charge a phone, controller and aircraft battery during the same stop, compare the charger’s documented multi-port combinations. Plan the sequence as well as the equipment: the power available to one device can depend on what else is connected. Keep charging access and cable storage in your drone travel packing plan.
